Off The Chart: 14 May 1982We’ve always said Off The Chart is the ’80s chart show with a twist, but there’s a really big huge proper unexpected twist on this week’s show, as we’re not looking at the Official Chart for today in 1982, but one from a rival magazine that’s a full top 100 and everything! That means we’ll get to play some records that weren’t actually official hits, as well as the usual obscure and neglected genuine hits, plus all the regular supporting nonsense including three of the new entries on the album chart, a round-up of the day’s news, TV, radio and gigs, a Mystery Cover Version, the terrifying Arthur Dent Moment, a hit from the Swedish chart, and the seasonally adjusted top five in full.

Listen to Off The Chart on Noisebox Radio at 9pm every Tuesday, with a bonus hour of additional hits from the same chart at 11pm in Off The Chart Too! And don’t forget you can join in the show chat on the Noisebox Radio Discord server. If you’re not around, you can hear the show again on Noisebox Radio at 3pm on Saturday, or catch up on Mixcloud after that.
