Having set new standards in live broadcasting last week (I think we set them back about five years), we’re safely back on tape for Off The Chart this week for a jaunt to the relatively recent 1989. We’ll have all the usual features, including a barrage of obscure, forgotten and neglected hits, tracks from three new entries on the album chart, a look at what was happening in the news, TV, radio and gigs, a hit from the West German chart and the top five singles in full. But not, hopefully, Clannad performing in the next room like last week.
