Yes, believe it or not, it’s time once again to cast your votes in our annual poll of your favourite 1980s Christmas hits!

The concept is the same as always, vote for as many as you like, then pick your one absolute favourite and give it a boost in the voting, and also pick the one you hate the most and take a point away from it, because nobody said life was fair.

We’ve been doing it for a long time now so we think we’ve got all the Christmas songs that were hits in the ’80s (not including the ones that had already been hits in previous decades, obviously) plus a lot that weren’t really Christmas songs but were in the chart at Christmas and have become festive classics by default, or just sound “a bit Christmassy”. However, again this year we’ve given in to the constant bleating about songs you think should have been in the list, and left you a space to nominate an ’80s Christmas song that wasn’t a hit. Feel free to suggest anything you think fits the bill, and we’ll play some of them on the Off The Chart Christmas Show on Xmas Eve on Noisebox Radio, along with the results of the poll.
