There’s an exciting new look to Off The Chart as it celebrates its 201st show! Sadly the show itself contains the same old rubbish as usual, but we’ll be looking at the chart from this day in 1988 and playing some of the hits you might not expect to hear on the radio. We’ll also play tracks from three of the week’s new albums, as well as looking at the day’s events, TV & radio highlights, the day’s gigs, the Canadian chart from the same day, and concluding with the top five singles in all their glory.
- Which band released over thirty albums but only ever managed three top 40 singles?
- Which famous drummer formed a new band, then got the singer from his main band to sing on his album?
- And which 1988 hit apparently contains the greatest key change of all time?
