We’re heading back to 1981 on this week’s Off The Chart, looking at the Record Business top 100 with all the chaos down the bottom end that didn’t make the Official Chart, but somehow both top fives have worked out identically. Not that you need to worry about that until the end of the show, after we’ve had the usual shedload of obscure, neglected and forgotten hits, tracks from three of the week’s new albums, a look at the day’s news, TV, radio and gig listings, a track from a Peel Session broadcast today, and a hit from the Australian chart. Then you can worry about the top five in full.
Listen to Off The Chart on Noisebox Radio at 9pm every Tuesday, with a bonus hour of additional hits from the same chart at 11pm in Off The Chart Too! And don’t forget you can join in the show chat on the Noisebox Radio Discord server. If you’re not around, you can catch up on Mixcloud after that.
